On one level, these benches and seats literally overlook the English countryside — quiet views across fields, woodland, and villages. On another level, they are themselves overlooked: ordinary objects we walk past without a thought, until the moment we sit and pause.
Each image is part of a quiet journey in monochrome photography — stillness, reflection, and a reminder not to take the everyday for granted.
A Seat With A View is a long-term photography project that has been ongoing for a number of years, growing slowly as I come across new seats, benches and places worth stopping for.
